Third Digital Wellbeing for Families Newsletter: Pilot Workshops Showcase the Impact of Intergenerational Learning Across Europe
The Digital Wellbeing for Families Erasmus+ project has reached its final stage, celebrating the successful completion of pilot workshops delivered in Ireland, Romania, Spain, and Croatia. The third newsletter highlights how families, educators, and community organisations worked together to promote healthier, safer, and more balanced digital lives through intergenerational learning.
Highlights:
✅ Successful Pilot Workshops: Project partners delivered interactive workshops involving parents, children, and educators from diverse communities. Sessions explored balanced device use, digital identity, emotional intelligence, online safety, learning apps and AI, and strengthening family relationships in the digital age.
✅ Intergenerational Learning in Action: The workshops encouraged meaningful dialogue between generations, with children sharing their digital knowledge while parents contributed their life experience and critical thinking, creating opportunities for mutual learning and understanding.
✅ Practical Resources for Families and Educators: The project has produced a range of free educational resources, including the Digital Wellbeing Guidebook, Micro-learning Cards, and Workshop Materials, available in English, Spanish, Romanian, Croatian, and Hungarian to support family learning and adult education.
✅ Project Completion: As the project comes to a close, partners celebrate the positive impact of the workshops and the collaboration established across Europe. The initiative has demonstrated that supporting digital wellbeing within families requires practical tools, open dialogue, and cooperation between generations.
The consortium extends its sincere thanks to all families, educators, partner organisations, and stakeholders who contributed to the success of the project.
