Six months after we began: Empowering Young Female Migrants Across Europe is still our main concern!
The Teens2Queens partners got together for their second meeting, this time in Florence, where we discussed the current project status and our upcoming work.
During the last six months, the partner organisations conducted field research and gathered a large amount of information from more than 209 questionnaire and 42 interviews among teens aged 15 to 25 years old - more than enough material to compare, check and lay the bases of next step: the design of Teens2Queens training course for staff who works on empowering teens on PERSONAL, CIVIC ENTREPRENEURIAL competences.
Next step? In autumn 2026, we will provide our free and accessible course to 80 staff working with young women with migrant backgrounds in Austria, France, Italy and Sweden.
As we mark International Migrants Day, this milestone reminds us how crucial it is to amplify the voices of young women with migrant backgrounds and to keep working towards their empowerment, inclusion and equal opportunities across Europe.
