Transformative Education for Social Inclusion and Integration
TRANSFORM is an Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnership that strengthens the capacity of Vocational Education and Training (VET) educators and organisations to promote the inclusion and integration of migrants, refugees and other learners from diverse backgrounds.
The project brings together six partner organisations from Ireland, Spain, Greece, Italy and Portugal to develop practical, high-quality resources that support inclusive teaching and learning. The main outputs include a Competency Framework for VET Educators, a Methodological Guide for Transformative Education, the Introducing Inclusion and Integration micro-credential course, and the Storytelling for Change methodology. All resources are developed collaboratively, translated into the partner languages and made freely available through the project website.
The project includes a Learning, Teaching and Training Activity (LTTA), national pilot workshops with VET learners, storytelling workshops, multiplier events and dissemination activities across Europe. Feedback from educators and learners is used to refine and validate the resources, ensuring they are practical, accessible and relevant to VET settings.
By combining innovative teaching approaches with practical learning materials, TRANSFORM supports educators in creating more inclusive learning environments, promotes intercultural dialogue and contributes to the European priorities of inclusion, diversity, lifelong learning and high-quality vocational education and training.
