The main objective of this project is to support the development of basic skills for adults with little qualification, and specifically of the skills: Reading comprehension, Arithmetic, and digital skills, through self-learning and mobile devices, with Android operating system.
As some low-skilled adults may face difficulties in installing the application and running it, training material is also developed to facilitate guidance/mentorship by family members/close relatives for this group of users.
self-Learn develops a self-assessment tool to measure the development of these 3 skills (Reading comprehension, Arithmetic, and digital skills) in low-skilled adults, comparing the original state of the users before starting the training and at the end of it.
The training has two levels for each competency and a “Mentor Guidance Training” on the other hand.
This mobile tool is free and facilitates the identification of learning needs.
