Project intellectual outputs

O1 Construction Industry Statistics

The sector analysis will cover the following topics:

  1. Occupational accidents accruing in the Construction Industry,
  2. Occupational disease
  3. Technological and modern approaches in construction industry,
  4. Measures taken against occupational accident and disease,
  5. A report consisting political prevention decisions related to the project topic will be prepared.

The project partners have conducted a cross-country analysis identifying the common and different needs and aspects that should be considered in the other project outputs.

 O2 New Education Programs in the Construction Industry

This output is planned to respond to the key skills emerging in the Construction Industry in recent years. The following programs will be developed:

  1. Working with asbestos, health and safety measures
  2. Working at height and safety measures
  3. Working and safety precautions on scaffolding
  4. Construction demolition technology and safety precautions

O3 A-Synchronous Education Module prepared for the new curriculum

An a-synchronous training module will be created in order to improve educational quality and to make the education recognizable. A-Synchronous Education It is the easiest, cost saving and useful type of distance education.

 O4 Virtual Reality Application (Virtual Construction Site)

Through a virtual reality application learners will be able to gain and practice new skills acquired though the new curriculum. Individuals will experience these applications at a realistic rate with virtual glasses. VR gives teams the ability to “see” a project site without traveling to it. This makes it easy for teams to collaborate in real time, within a shared environment, where they can literally point out details and issues, ask questions, and immediately make decisions about changes.
