INE

The INE – Inclusive Nature Experience pursues two overarching goals. It aims to create opportunities for all people to benefit from nature and to strengthen the common willingness to engage in nature conservation, to learn about natural environments and to protect it.

The benefits include health and wellbeing like stress reduction, the promotion of physical activity and the improvement of social and emotional skills.

People with intellectual disabilities, people with learning difficulties and other people with fewer opportunities often have limited access to nature and are hardly aware of the health benefits of natural spaces.

The INE project conveys the possibility to recognize nature as an opportunity to improve quality of life and to actively use it for well-being, mentally and physically.

On the other side it creates an awareness of the need to make decisions in favour of the environment in order to overcome consequences of the climate change like the decline in biodiversity together.

The INE project aims to achieve the following objectives:

  • Benefit from nature in preventing health and well
  • Learn lifeworld-oriented ecological skills
  • Enjoy multi-sensory experience innature
  • Promote sustainable behaviour
  • Ensure fully and barrier-free experience in nature.
