The AEduHUBs project aims to make adult education more accessible and inclusive, particularly in rural areas of Europe where adults often face limited learning opportunities. Since adult learning in these regions tends to occur informally, the project focuses on developing ways to validate these informal competences and create structured education pathways.
Through a strong research-based and methodological framework, AEduHUBs will design a training programme for adult education professionals and providers. This programme will equip them with the skills to ensure transparency, validation, and recognition of informal learning, supported by micro-credentials, and to establish local adult education hubs.
The project’s main outcomes are:
-
A methodological concept for creating and implementing adult education hubs in rural communities.
-
A training programme for educators on recognising informal learning, using micro-credentials, and building education pathways.
-
A comprehensive AEduHUBs handbook containing methods, materials, and checklists to support the hubs’ operation.
