HERoic Tracks: European Survey Report published

HERoic Tracks is a European project that aims to strengthen the social and labour market integration of refugee and migrant women by promoting gender-responsive approaches, evidence-based policy development, and inclusive support practices across Europe. We've just launched the HERoic Tracks European Survey Report presenting findings from interviews and an online survey involving 280 refugee and migrant women across seven European countries. The report examines women’s experiences of integration and highlights structural challenges within existing integration systems. Based on the collected data, the report identifies seven priority areas for improvement: discrimination and equal treatment; the gender sensitivity of integration programmes; cultural and religious awareness; recognition of prior knowledge and skills; access to information and services; employment and labour market integration; and the accessibility and overall quality of support measures. By combining first-hand experiences with comparative analysis, the report offers concrete, evidence-based insights aimed at informing more inclusive and gender-responsive integration policies and practices at European, national, and local levels.
