A new project is starting: DIST – Digital Strength

Together against cyber violence!

The DIST project aims to raise awareness of cyberviolence among young people in VET, particularly those who are already marginalised, and to equip them with strategies to recognise and counteract it. It also supports VET professionals by providing training and new approaches to address cyberviolence in their daily work. Through this, the project promotes shared values such as diversity, tolerance, inclusion, participation, and mutual respect.

The project engages young people and professionals through participatory tools such as surveys and focus groups, ensuring that activities are adapted to their needs. Results include a European report on cyberviolence featuring expert insights, workshops for young people and training for VET staff, and national peer-to-peer workshop implementations supported by expert recommendations in a dedicated policy paper. A visibility and promotion campaign further disseminates outcomes to the wider public, complemented by transnational meetings that support coordination and exchange.
