Standard definitions

  • Platform: is the online service provided by E.N.T.E.R. GmbH at www.enter-network.eu
  • User: is any organisation or person who has a membership account regardless of whether it is a free or paid for level
  • Content: is any information inputted by a user on the platform
  • Membership: means One, Two or Three Star membership. The services associated with each level are summarised here.

1. General

1.1 The company

E.N.T.E.R. GmbH is a limited company based in Graz, Austria (Austrian Register of Companies N°: FN423006v, VAT N°: ATU69012347), with the purpose of disseminating information about results and products of European funded projects throughout Europe to promote their sustainable use and benefits to EU citizens, as well as building strong networks of EU project organisations and working to support organisations in improving the quality of EU project delivery.

1.2 E.N.T.E.R. GmbH offers the following main services:

a) The online E.N.T.E.R. platform enables the effective dissemination of content concerning EU funded projects to a broad community of interested organisations and persons. Users of this network are entitled to use a range of different features, in accordance with the level of membership chosen, to inform other users about their work, developments, outcomes etc. It is possible to target content towards specific sectors, types of organisations, countries etc...

Please note that before E.N.T.E.R. GmbH can allow the dissemination of information about a project, it will undertake a check to ensure that the project is funded by an EC funding programme. A user may be requested to provide documentary evidence, such as a copy of an official document from the European funding body.

b) All registered users of the network can receive information electronically concerning projects, products and events and from EU project experts that are registered in the network; the information users wish to be informed about is defined by specific areas of activity and target group focus, that are relevant to the user’s particular requirements and areas of interest.

c) E.N.T.E.R. GmbH offers an extensive pool of highly competent potential EU project experts and partners. This database can be searched and potential partners can be contacted (search according to country, areas of activity, target groups etc.).

2. Membership of E.N.T.E.R. and EU Project Expert pool

2.1 User eligibility

The service contract is between the user and E.N.T.E.R. GmbH. Persons registering for a service on behalf of their respective organisation should be authorised to do so.

2.2 Free and paid for services

One Star membership is free of charge. Two and Three Star membership and registration of EU Project Expert database entries are subject to the payment of a fee.

2.3 Membership and EU Project Expert database entry contracts

Contracts are valid for twelve months starting from the day the user is sent confirmation that the respective service has been activated. The renewal date is the same date in the following year.

2.4 Activation of membership and EU Project Expert pool entries

E.N.T.E.R. GmbH commits to activating membership accounts and EU Project Expert database entries within five working days of receiving payment of an invoice, provided its quality management board finds no reason to refuse offering a service. Upon activation the member will be informed immediately by email.

2.5 Refusal of an organisation’s membership or of an EU Project Expert pool entry

The quality management board of E.N.T.E.R. GmbH reserves the right to refuse a membership application or an application to register with the EU Project Expert pool without providing a reason.

2.6. Renewal of membership and EU Project Expert database entry

One Star membership (free membership) will be renewed automatically.

Two and Three Star membership (paid membership): renewal notifications will be sent by email four, two and one week(s) before the renewal date asking the users to renew. Renewal will not be automatic, but will take effect once payment of the respective membership fee has been received by E.N.T.E.R. GmbH.

EU Project Expert pool entry: renewal notifications will be sent by email four, two and one week(s) before the renewal date asking the user to renew. Renewal will not be automatic, but will take effect once payment of the respective fee has been received by E.N.T.E.R. GmbH.

2.7 Termination of membership and EU Project Expert database entry

Notification of a wish to terminate must be made by email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. - the notification must be sent by the registered contact person using the email address that is registered with the membership account in question.

One Star membership (free membership): membership can be terminated at any time.

Two and Three Star membership:

  • can be terminated within the first 14 days of the account being activated or renewed with a full refund of the fee paid.
  • can be terminated at any other time throughout the year, however no part of the fee paid will be refunded.

EU Project Expert pool entry:

  • can be terminated within the first 14 days of it being activated or renewed with a full refund of the fee paid.
  • can be terminated at any other time throughout the year, however no part of the fee paid will be refunded.

E.N.T.E.R GmbH has the right to terminate the account of any user who it deems has used the platform in an inappropriate manner contrary to the terms and conditions of use and where decent and proper behaviour that is expected of belonging to a professional network is not followed. This includes any technical interference with the running of the website and any acts of deliberate sabotage that damage or affect its functioning, e.g. viruses. Should it be necessary for E.N.T.E.R. GmbH to terminate a user account then it will notify the respective user. The user shall no longer have access to any content stored on the website, and E.N.T.E.R. GmbH has the right to delete any previously registered content.

3. Operation of membership accounts and use of the online platform

3.1 Setting up an account

Users are required to create an account and complete their profile by providing mandatory information. A valid email address is required and a password is created at the sign-up stage. The email address is used for both for log-in as well as the means by which E.N.T.E.R. will communicate with the user.

The user is responsible for the accuracy and quality of all information provided, and if any changes occur the user is required to update their organisation’s data via their Member Dashboard. E.N.T.E.R. GmbH is not responsible for any content that is provided by a user.

Projects should, under normal circumstances, only be registered once, by one partner in a project group, generally the coordinator or main dissemination partner. If we receive a request to register a project more than once we will ask for clarification about the reason for this and E.N.T.E.R. GmbH maintains the right to refuse the project registration request.

3.2 Ownership of data

The user grants E.N.T.E.R. GmbH with the non-exclusive right to use content it provides. In addition the user guarantees that it owns all rights to the content and is legally authorised to register such content with the E.N.T.E.R. online platform.

The user guarantees that the content is not protected by the rights of third parties.

The user also guarantees that the use of the content in the context of the membership contract does not violate the rights of any third parties, and that any third parties have given their legal consent for the use of the content.

3.3 Disclosure of information to third parties

Users may not disclose any account log-in details or any information obtained directly as a result of membership of the platform to third parties without specific consent from E.N.T.E.R. GmbH.

3.4. All services provided by E.N.T.E.R. GmbH are exclusively for registered users only

It is not permitted for non-members of the network to have access to the members’ area or for members to pass data, information, content etc. from the members’ area on to third parties. Each registered user is responsible for the confidential use of content it has access to in the members’ area. In particular the commercial use, surrendering and onward transmission of data, information, content etc. from the members’ area is strictly forbidden. Every such misuse will result in the immediate termination of the respective member’s membership of the network, and could lead to a claim for compensation being made against the guilty member.

3.5 Indemnity against claims by third parties

The user releases E.N.T.E.R. GmbH from any liability in relation to claims by third parties, particularly in connection with any violations of copyrights, trademark rights and personal rights, which may occur due to the use of the E.N.T.E.R. platform by a user. Should a user be aware that a third party intends to undertake legal action the user must inform E.N.T.E.R. immediately. E.N.T.E.R. GmbH has the legal right to defend itself against any such third party claims, and the release from third party liability also includes the reimbursement by the user in question of any legal costs incurred (or expected to be incurred) during the course of asserting its legal rights.

4. Fees and payments

4.1 Fee levels

All fees for services quoted on the platform are exclusive of VAT. VAT will be charged as appropriate.

4.2 Payment of fees

All invoices are in English and will be sent by email as pdf files to the named account contact person. All prices are in Euro. Payment of invoices is to be made by bank transfer within 14 days of the invoice date. Should payment not be received within the timescale stated on the invoice E.N.T.E.R. GmbH has the right to suspend a user’s access to services or suspend the user’s account until payment is received. Should E.N.T.E.R. GmbH be required to take such action the user will be notified by email.

4.3 Bring a Friend

The Bring a Friend form must be received by E.N.T.E.R. no later than 14 days following the activation of the new (recommended) member's account. The Bring a Friend payment is made only once, when the new member registers for the first time and does not cancel membership within the first 14 days. No Bring a Friend payments will be made if the new member upgrades membership or buys an additional service at a later date or for any renewal of membership/services. If a bank transfer is requested then this will be sent within 14 days of the new member deciding to continue with its E.N.T.E.R. membership. If the choice is to have the next fee invoice reduced by the Bring a Friend payment this will not show in the member's online account and will be manually applied to the invoice by the E.N.T.E.R. Team.

4.4 Fee level increases

From time to time we may need to increase or decrease fee levels. Any changes to fee levels will be communicated via our website at least one month before becoming effective. New fee levels will only apply to users at their next renewal date.

4.5 Social project donation

As part of our ongoing social commitment we donate 5% of all net membership fees to Caritas Steiermark (Austria) to support the education and development of disadvantaged children in Eastern and South East Europe (read more).

5.1 General disclaimer

Although maximum care will be taken in the presentation of all information and content, E.N.T.E.R. GmbH accepts no liability in terms of authenticity, accuracy, completeness or quality of the material contained on the website. E.N.T.E.R. GmbH is not liable for any damages resulting from the use or the inability to use information on the website. E.N.T.E.R. assumes no liability for the content of external links. The provider of the linked site alone shall be liable for illegal, inaccurate or incomplete information on his site or for damages incurred by the use or the inability to use information or by use of inaccurate or incomplete information of the provider’s website.

5.2 Disclaimer regarding the content

All contents on the E.N.T.E.R. platform are subject to change and without obligation. E.N.T.E.R. GmbH reserves the right to change, add to, delete or suspend the publication, either temporarily or permanently, of pages or the entire site without prior notice.

6. Privacy Policy and confidentiality

6.1 Privacy statement

Content provided by users will only be used in accordance with the purpose of the online E.N.T.E.R. platform as described in these terms and conditions and according to the legal framework (Österreichisches Datenschutzgesetz 2000, BGBl. 6.2 Confidentiality of user content

All content concerning registered users will be treated with absolute confidentiality by E.N.T.E.R. GmbH both inside as well as outside of the network.
User data will not be forwarded to any third parties. At any time, users have the right to be informed about the personal data they have stored in the E.N.T.E.R. network, their origin and recipients as well as the purpose of the storage. Furthermore, users have the right to request of E.N.T.E.R. to correct their data as well as to block and delete any personal or organisational information. 7. Copyright

Any reproduction or use of texts, photographs or other material in other media, whether electronically or in other forms, is strictly forbidden without the express consent of E.N.T.E.R. GmbH.

8. Settlement of disputes

Failing amicable settlement, the Courts of Graz, Austria, shall have sole authority to rule on any dispute between the contracting parties in respect of this membership. The contract will be governed by the law of Austria.
