MeLi project is about assisting parents in protecting their children from the dangers they may face online and creating an online community with the aim to support parents in the topic of media literacy. It aims to resolve the policy gap regarding the limited media literacy initiatives targeting parents, by creating a training programme and supporting tools for media literacy education addressed specifically to them.
The project will come up with the following tangible results:
- Training programme: Media Literacy for parents
- Web App ML4P
- Parents’ guide to media literacy
Hearthands supported the development of a training program that enhances parents’ media literacy skills and competences and designed and implemented a delivery tool which facilitates different types of quizzes to accompany the delivery of the theory.
