First Transform Newsletter: Supporting Inclusive Education Across Europe

First Transform Newsletter: Supporting Inclusive Education Across Europe

The Transform Erasmus+ project has officially launched, bringing together partners from Ireland, Italy, Greece, Spain, Portugal, and Poland to promote more inclusive and diverse learning environments across Europe. The first newsletter introduces the project’s vision and highlights the successful kick-off activities that will shape the development of innovative educational resources for VET educators.

Highlights:

Project Launch: Transform officially commenced with the shared goal of helping educational centres become more inclusive through innovative pedagogical materials and teaching approaches that support diversity and equal opportunities.

Successful Transnational Project Meeting: Project partners met in Perugia, Italy, in May 2024 to begin the collaborative development of the project’s key outputs and establish the roadmap for implementation over the coming months.

Development of the Competency Framework: Partners have started designing an innovative Competency Framework for VET educators, supporting the vocational integration of migrants and refugees. Drawing on transformative educational theory, this framework will provide practical guidance for creating more inclusive learning environments across Europe.

Looking Ahead: As the project progresses, partners will develop new educational resources, methodologies, and practical tools to strengthen inclusion and diversity within vocational education and training, with exciting project results to be shared throughout the project’s lifetime.
