Conference: Show your abilities - assessing professional competences

The assessment of professional competences of people arriving in Europe from other and third countries (as migrants, refugees or asylum seekers) is always a challenge especially if no certificates or other documents for specific competences or training programmes can be shown.

The NCNA - New Challenges, New Answers project (co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union) has worked on this challenge and has developed a model for identification and assessment of professional competences of migrants for four sectors (wood, construction, metal and tourism). The results and approaches will be presented at a final conference in Graz, Austria on the 29th of June 2018. Further information including the conference programme may be found under
