The ‘Boys reading’ Conference consists of two sessions targeting all stakeholders, while specifically focusing on educators, introducing them to educational approaches that respond to the interests, needs, and learning styles of adolescent boys, in attempt to engage adolescent boys and girls equally as readers and writers.

The plenary conference session will focus on disseminating the ‘Boys reading’ project results through case studies and poster session, while the paper session titled Reading in Early Adolescence will provide an ideal platform for teachers and educational experts to address a variety of topics dealing with reading in early adolescence. The proposed paper session strands are Boys Reading, Educating Young Readers, Overcoming Reading Difficulties – Pedagogical Challenges, and Reading in the Digital Age.
